From April 24th to 25th, the 2025 Vacuum Technology and Industry Development - "Kunshan Tour" event, hosted by the Chinese Vacuum Society, was held in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. More than 120 people, including Zhao Hongwei, the president and Party secretary of the Chinese Vacuum Society, as well as directors, supervisors, representatives of corporate member units and vacuum enterprises of the Chinese Vacuum Society, and responsible persons from relevant units in Kunshan City and Bacheng Town, attended the event.
Zhao Hongwei and Yu Dapeng, the executive director of the Chinese Vacuum Society, respectively delivered keynote speeches on "Progress and Challenges of Accelerators for Ion Precision Radiotherapy" and "Everything Can Be Quantum - Quantum Computing is Everyone's Responsibility". Dong Zhenchao, a supervisor of the Chinese Vacuum Society, gave a report on "Research on Single-Molecule Spectral Imaging at Sub-Nanometer Resolution". They introduced the latest research achievements and development trends in the field of vacuum technology in a simple and understandable way. The participants not only fully understood the research frontier of vacuum technology, but also deeply recognized the important role of vacuum technology in the national economy. They further clarified the role of high-tech enterprises as the backbone force in promoting revolutionary technological breakthroughs and in-depth industrial transformation and upgrading.
